The Fender Custom Limited-edition 67 HSS Stratocaster represents a seriously hot-rodded take on vintage Strat style, sporting a spec sheet that marks the halfway point between modern shred machine performance and golden-era Fender flair. The bones of this guitar including a 2-piece select alder body, a 1965 Strat ”C” profile quarter-sawn maple neck, and a round-lam rosewood fingerboard all slot perfectly into the standard late-1960s Stratocaster mold. However, the necks 12-inch radius and 21 jumbo-sized frets scream modern playability, supplying a speedy feel and smooth foundation to pick out expressive leads and massive fret-out-free bends. To pair with this Strats supercharged performance, the Fender Custom Shop equipped the Limited-edition 67 HSS Stratocaster Relic with an equally powerful pickup configuration: two modern multi-magnet Dual-Mag II single-coils and a ripping bridge-position Shawbucker 1 humbucker. Questa Gibson Custom Shop ’56 Reissue cattura l’aspetto, la sensazione e il suono bruciante di una Les Paul Goldtop originale del 1956 in modo esaustivo.
